Nintendo has released another trailer during Gamescom 2017, featuring the SNES Classic Mini and its features, in a 90s style commercial. The system has a rewind feature so players can now go back in time during a play through, a different take on save states, while also including save states as “suspend points”. The system also has different frame customization to support the widescreen of televisions of today, while keeping the same aspect ratio of the games. Finally, they showcase a little of the unreleased Star Fox 2 again. the SNES Classic Mini releases September 29th, at $79.99 USD. You can watch the trailer here.
Preorders went up for Best Buy around 1AM EST, and have quickly sold out. Amazon also went up and sold out. No word on whether or not they’ll be back up and no information about Walmart, Target and Gamestop preorders.
